I want to thank you for the best relaxing holiday i have ever had. Me and the girls really enjoyed it in Rhodes and felt like we had left our family there. Marietta you and your family work so hard to make sure that everyone is well looked after and i just want to say how much it is appreciated. I will be coming back either later this year or me and the girls will come back next year for a reunion. We will make sure we get the quad bikes out for the week next time!!! so much fun. Ron E,Jay, Chloe,Cavan & Saskia,arrived home from MARIETTA’S yesterday morning very early.We had a fabulous time & met people who contributed enormously to our holiday.Firstly Marietta & her husband Costas & brother Michael,mum & dad.To mention some but not all of our fellow holiday makers,John & Alison & kids,Paul & Denise,Leonardo,Trevor, Wina & Carly,Carla & Sara,Mark & Sara & kids,(sorry Mark I struggled with your accent,we could have talked much more).
Derek & Sara & kids, Peter & Lee,(who for some bizarre reason I wanted to call Tony & Kate).
I have a small suggestion to make,some hooks on doors,especially the bathroom would have been useful.

Arrived back this morning from another 2 weeks in Paradise. Met some old friends, and made some great new ones. This truely is a heavenly spot for relaxation, good food, spotless accomodation (thanks Irini!!)and the lovliest family you could wish to meet. Nothing is too much trouble and always done with a smile. In fact its not a holiday destination, it is visiting friends. Once again tears all round when we leave and terrible sense of anticlimax when we get back to Blighty!!

just arrived back from mariettas.we had a lovely holiday and were surprised by our friends mary and graham and julia.it was great to see all our friends again and meeting new ones.it was great to see marietta ,debbie fotis michael costas and of course gorgeous despina.we are missing you already and cant wait for next year especially meeting the famous dave who kept us entertained.have got to lose weight now after the lovely meals.love to all the familyxxxxxxxxx :welcome: :toast: :clap: 😎
This thank you for a wonderful holiday is LONG overdue on my part as we stayed with you for two weeks way back in July…wish we were at the poolside right now! Your hospitality is second to none Michalakis family!!
All areas are kept very very clean, we had our linen etc changed frequently and never once, not even when you were busy, did you Marietta, Michalis or in fact any member of your family let us pass without a word of greeting (and by name too, right from the start). The catering facilities were what we had expected and what we had paid for i.e. limited but perfectly adequate for holidays and we managed to prepare a number of meals in the apartment without any great bother. Although a distance from the beach, Pastita is well served by buses and we enjoyed many trips to Rhodes City as well as various different types of beaches nearby that were accessible by bus or taxi and others which we hired a car to visit (very simply, via yourselves). Pastita itself has a variety of eating places which we enjoyed greatly and the cake and ice cream shop is to die for!!
The fact that air conditioning in the apartment was extra was made quite clear from the start and was to be expected given the level of rental – it was however necessary and was well worth the extra money so I am not sure what some people grumble about on this point.
All in all a fantastic holiday that suited us and the boys (aged 13 and 17), both from the point of view of being located at this end of the Island of Rhodes and more particularly for the cleanliness, value for money and hospitality that you get at the Marietta! Any questions I wanted answered before the holiday, Michalis promptly answered by email and this too was very important.
All the guest we met were like minded to ourselves and mixed well but at the same time did not invade anyone else’s space in any way. It was noticeable that a large number were repeat visitors – percentage wise we have never encountered so many returning to the same place as was the case here at Marietta and I think this speaks for itself.
